The Movers & Storers Show 2010

Our Exhibition StandAnother year and another Movers & Storers Show. This year’s show was held at Telford’s International Centre on a wet and snowy Wednesday in February.

The evening before consisted of setting up the numerous exhibition stands and ensuring that the trucks on show were parked correctly and polished to the highest of standards. A VIP Show Preview Party took place that evening allowing exhibitors and guests to eat, drink and play on a giant scalextric. I must confess that copious amounts of alcohol was consumed that evening, both at the VIP Show Preview Party and in the Hotel Bar afterwards!

Exhibition day itself started a little slow, but by mid morning attendees were in full flow, making there way around the ample exhibitors on hand, as well as taking onboard several of the Learning Zone seminars. On our stand we were giving away Mouse Mats, Coasters, ipod/iphone/blackberry screen cleaners, and of course the obligatory Cadbury Creme Eggs!

All in all a good day was had by all. We made a few new contacts, caught up with may old and existing ones and look forward to doing it all again in 2011! 🙂

Could I firstly express how pleased we are with the Move Administer operating system, we are now coming to the 1 year milestone and cannot believe how easy this system converted from our previous package. We expected teething problems and bugs but thankfully there were very few, and the few we had were resolved promptly and efficiently.

There are many advantages of running the Move Administrator system (too many to mention) but the great advantage is how user friendly it is, all our staff use the system with great ease, and accounts are both accurate and easy to administer. Colin and the team have responded promptly to any queries we have raised and the on-line log on is a God send.

We now know the future will bring great developments to the system and take this from strength to strength.

The training and support we have had from yourselves has been second to none, nothing was a problem even when asking to adapt an already fantastic system to accommodate some of our own little quirks.

To whom it may concern

We migrated from Remstar 1 (thereby avoiding Remstar 2) to Move Administer in April 2008 and currently have a 3 user system. The conversion of our data went very smoothly and we were impressed by the ease and speed with which the transition was achieved.

We have always received courteous and prompt attention with regard to requests for assistance and have found that Colin and Richard are very patient with our limited IT knowledge. It has been very effective to have the facility to request a support technician on line which allows them to control Move Administer so that they can “see” the exact problem instead of having to deal with queries over the telephone. This method is also very useful for receiving updates out of hours which avoids the need for downtime during the working day.

We are pleased that any suggestions for additional or improved features are welcomed and implemented if possible and the programme continues to evolve and improve.

We continue to receive regular contact from Administer Software Limited, unlike other companies who seem to become very distant once they have made a sale.

We have found the system to be very user friendly and would have no hesitation recommending Move Administer and the team to other Removers.
