The Movers & Storers Show

The Movers & Storers ShowThe first ever Movers & Storers Show took place on February 22nd & 23rd at the NEC, Birmingham, and looks to have been a huge success for exhibitors, attendees and show organisers!

This was the first time Administer Software had exhibited, so it was decided to exhibit with a bang! New leaflets were designed, together with an exhibition stand, in bright, but friendly, warm and inviting colours, oh and Cadbury Cream Eggs were handed out to all that stopped by.

Richard & ColinOut stand was well attended, from potential to existing customers, and even customers from our time at Easi-Move, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that stopped by, it was great to meet with you all again as well as meeting many new faces.

We would particularly like to thank Keith and Charlotte of Animo for organising such an exhibition, all our existing clients as a few new ideas were passed on, fellow exhibitors Ra’Alloy where Stuart (AKA Mika) and Luke entertained our table at the Exhibitors Party on the Friday evening, together with the lovely people from HelpIAmMoving, Basil Fry Insurance where Greg and Pete (hope your nose gets better soon) kept Lynn and I entertained on the Thursday evening, and to clients of old, including our old boss who it was fantastic to have a night of old with. If we’ve missed anyone out then I apologise now. And if you didn’t attend, then shame on you!

I have been using Move Administer for over a year, having previously used Remstar. I am sure it is the best product on the market at the moment. I have found it a huge improvement on our previous software.

It is fantastic being able to email quotations, along with attachments such as insurance cover and terms and conditions.

The facility to copy over information from one quote to another, when customers require multiple quotes, via store etc, saves lots of time.

The initial installation was smooth and the system has been easy to use from day 1. There are constant upgrades and improvements often incorporating individual requirements, which are carried out remotely, out of hours, so no disruption during the day.

The back up is swift when required and readily available.

I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone within the industry, and in fact, have done several times.

Having acquired a large “family run” business with 23 vehicles and no computer processes, we had our hands full. The operations of the business were being run through a hand written diary with invoicing through MS Word. The implementation of the Move Administer program has been a huge success and made our lives much easier.

Colin and Richard were extremely helpful during the implementation stages and continue to support us when needed. Move Administer is a work in progress with Colin updating, adding to, and improving the program based on suggestions from users.

One of the most useful aspects of Move Administer is the costing system. The costings give you the ability to create a basic profit and loss account for every job, which is extremely beneficial in our current business climate.
