2 days training on Move Administer was completed yesterday at Britannia Lanes of Somerset in Bridgwater.
Day 1 was spent with Richard teaching the basics of the system to all involved. In the afternoon Richard was joined by Colin where at the close of play data was then taken from their old system and converted during the evening ready for installation on Day 2, ‘live‘ day.
Day 2 was spent ensuring everything was as expected, with Richard going over the system and Colin fine tuning the configuration to help achieve the best of the system.
D. Sully & Son Limited are now live on Move Administer!
Richard arrived bright and early on Wednesday morning to provide training to Managing Director Gary Wheadon the same day as going live on Move Administer.
Training went exceptionally well with no problems arising due to the quick and easy transformation from their old system to Move Administer.
Allen Removals & Storage of Dublin go live on Move Adminster!
Putting their old system (Remstar) behind them, Allen Removals & Storage have gone live on an 8 user system, which incorporates the Commercial and Shipping modules.
“This is the first Move Administer system to be installed outside of the UK.” says Colin Wynn, Managing Director of Administer Software Limited. “We rose to the challenge of having to alter Move Administer to deal with Euros, together with Premises Damage Insurance as this is still offered to clients, and that all insurance is applicable to VAT!“
Allen Removals & Storage will also start beta testing the Crate Administer module in the coming months.
Clockwork Budget expand system and go live!
8 weeks after installation and training, Clockwork Budget of Park Royal, London, have expanded their 6 user Move Administer system to 10 users and gone live!
During the last 8 weeks they have been learning and fine tuning the system to their requirements, including stationery changes.
3 days of training at Ward Thomas Removals were split into 3 individual days.
Day 1, Friday, was spent with Colin fine tuning the Options of Move Administer, and Richard running around each member of staff answering any last minute questions, as Monday was ‘live‘ day!
At the end of Day 1, Colin left with a copy of all the data that required converting ready for Day 2 onsite, the following Monday.
Day 2, Monday, was spent with Colin and Richard holding everyone’s hand, ensuring that no mistakes were being made on ‘live‘ day.
Day 3, some 10 days after ‘live‘ date was spent with Colin and Richard checking that everyone is getting on well with the system and dealing with any obscure questions arising from the past 10 days.
David Dale Removals goes live!
Due to the simplicity of Move Administer, David has decided against the need for onsite training.
The data from his previous system was downloaded to our server mid afternoon on the Saturday and uploaded back on Sunday morning, after a few hours of data convertion and a full system check.
Holdsworths moved into their new shop front on a Monday, 24 hours later Colin arrived to install and provide 2 days of training on Move Administer to eager staff, and 24 hours after that they went live!
While Tuesday was a crash course on using Move Administer, Wednesday was spent entering existing clients and ensuring that balances matched with those from the manual paper records before entering storage clients, new quotations and matching up the appointments diary.
Well one way to start off the new year was to have training on a new IT system!
As some of the staff at Britannia Sanderstead’s had been playing around with Move Adminster for a few months everyone took to the system like a duck to water.
One issue here was that their company data was sent to us for converting when the closed for the festive season, and it was our job to have it up and running in Move Administer for the first working day back in 2006. The next issue was that on the first day back into work everyone was running ‘live‘, so Colin and Richard spent 3 days running the length of their jolly office between anyone that needed assistance.
For us it was a super office to start the new year off, lots of fun was had and as Britannia Sanderstead’s were the first past client to move to our system a good glass or two of bubbly was had by all on the final day of training!
